In the 2nd of our autumn ‘After Dark’ series – we welcome back to The POW the excellent Young Pulse, who last joined us some 6 years ago. The last 2 years in particular has seen YP’s stock rise considerably, with a number of Defected and Glitterbox appearances, his involvement the Funky French League, and of course many high quality remixes of disco, boogie, and his devotion to the sound and culture of the dance music years.

The success of his “Paris Edits vol. 1-7”, his contribution and work with labels like G.A.M.M., Local Talk, Midnight Riot, Sony (to name a few), and his strong sound signature, has made him one of the most sought after act in today’s disco scene.

His official remixes of legendary french pop artists from the 70-80’s era like Françoise Hardy, Véronique Sanson, and Sheila, have been supported all over the globe after their official release on Warner.

In clubs, festivals, or in his residencies in Paris and London, the flawless records selection and
explosive energy he provides embraces your body and soul.

Young Pulse is also co-founder of Mochi Records, member and co-founder of Parisian collective and
records label Funky French League.

You can follow his monthly shows “Boogie To The Top” on Rinse (FR), FFL’s sets on Radio Meuh
and Tsugi radio, and most recently his new partnership with Defected as a selector and resident DJ on their Broadcasting House channel.

In March 2021 he took the leap and released his first original EP “Love Will Bring It”, an uplifting and powerful piece of disco and house, crafted for today’s dancefloors, produced with love and respect for the beautiful era of dance music. Instantly reaching Traxsource top 10, Young Pulse’s EP has then been remixed by Opolopo, Dr Packer, Laroye and FFL.

In April 2022, Young Pulse will release the much anticipated “Free” EP, with singer Natalie Nova.

Midnight Riot head honcho Yam Who? supports, with resident Rob Alldritt and John Jones closing the party out.
