Norman Jay MBE…Up On The Roof plus Bobby & Steve + Aroop Roy

Norman’s 2nd date of the 2023 season is on Saturday 15 July. Alongside Norman we have London house legends Bobby & Steve, as well as the excellent Aroop Roy who joins us for the 1st time.

As the Carnival godfather, Norman Jay MBE and his Good Times Sound System has entertained and educated revelers since the 1980’s, bringing new soul, hip hop and house music to the masses. The founder and master of funk and soul brings has been bringing his irrepressible Good Times vibe to his favourite Brixton rooftop for more than 10 years.

Acclaimed DJs, pioneering promoters, long running radio presenters, record producers and business partners in the iconic Groove Odyssey brand, Bobby & Steve have reached legendary status in the soulful house and disco scene.

Aroop Roy is a producer and label head, whose music has become a mainstay for DJs across scenes and generations.

Like his productions, his sets are full of personality and style and have earned him a growing reputation as a uniquely gifted DJ, with legendary Mr Scruff describing Aroop as ‘ a ridiculously skilled selector’
