Selects will showcase some of the talent we have supported over the course of lockdown.

Xadi and Ruvimbo joined our Artist Development Programme in August 2020 after a 250+ application process. West London musician and producer Xadi has a versatile rap/hip hop/RnB style and Ruvimbo is a British Zimbabwean song-writer, singer and poet with an autobiographical soulful music style.

Italian/Congolese singer and producer Sans Soucis joined the programme in April 2021 securing the coveted spot out of over 450 applicants. Her style is an eclectic mix of pop, RnB and electronic.

South London jazz/soul musician Anjelo Disons is on our management roster. He finished Brit School in 2019, built a following with local performances and is now firmly embedded in the jazz renaissance scene.

Manny Alexandra won our Instagram Monday Mic Night in April 2021, beating 32 others to win the  £1000 prize money. She brings a unique voice and old school/new school RnB vibes to the line up

As celebrated curators of Black music events, Selects is the latest in our work in providing a visible platform to talented young musicians. The event also provides a great opportunity to bring industry figures, local arts organisations and wider members of the Brixton community together after such a challenging time for the sector.
