The Brixton Rooftop Soul Club returns on the 27th of April. A brand new Thursday evening dedicated to Live Music from Brixton’s favourite rooftop venue. Focusing on an accoustic twist of Soul, Funk, Jazz and everything inbetween from established to up and coming artists.

We are delighted to welcome Natalie Duncan as our host. Returning from an amazing show last summer on the roof with Liam Bailey & Harleighblu.

Malaika is a multi instrumentalist, songwriter and performer who explores the possibilities of combining Jazz, Soul and Pop. From what started as a solo project looking to showcase an alternative side of pop music, Malaika has always experimented and in the process has developed her own unique style, encompassing many influences and delivering music that is constantly evolving.

“The finest meshes of Soulful Blues and melodic Pop you will hear this year” – The Blues Mag Since being named the “Best Unsigned Band” at the Best of British: Critic’s Choice Awards back in 2015, Eddy Smith & The 507 ditched the day jobs to pursue their careers in Music.

After years of writing and performing all over the UK in a bid to hone their skills as songwriters and musicians, come April 2017, The 507 will be taking their music to the studio and putting their collection of songs on a record, working alongside award-winning Producer, Stacy Parrish.

A Soulful blend of Blues, Rock and Pop with five musicians from varying musical backgrounds; their influences range from Ray Charles and Otis Redding, to The Rolling Stones and The Eagles. Their music has been played on Radio Stations all over the UK, including those at the BBC. Strangers (Since I’ve Been Loving You) was featured on the cover CD of The Blues Mag, they were included in the magazine’s “Bands To Watch” section.

The debut album is scheduled for release in the Summer of 2017, with a proposed launch being held at The Troubadour (London).
