Norman joins us for the 1st of his 4 summer parties Up On The Roof on the Easter Sunday, along with the legendary Jazzie B of Soul II Soul fame, and rising star, Glitterbox’s Melvo Baptiste.
As the Carnival godfather, Norman Jay MBE and his Good Times Sound System has entertained and educated revelers since the 1980’s, bringing new soul, hip hop and house music to the masses. The founder and master of funk and soul brings he irrepressible Good Times vibe to his favourite Brixton rooftop this Easter Sunday!
Jazzie is one of the true heavyweights of the London music world, founder of Soul II Soul – a legendary sound system that became a Grammy-winning soul act – picking up two Grammys in 1990 and given the keys to seven cities in the US, including Los Angeles, California and New York!
Melvo Baptiste (Glitterbox) rounds things off in the club after dark.
