One of a kind. The sell-out monthly event rated 5* by audiences for the atmosphere, hosting and consistently high quality of music, brings these impressive female artists, performing original songs and covering one by a female soul artist you know & love.

This October brings a special themed show celebrating Black History and women in Soul music.

4 carefully selected artists, each with her own individual soulful style and stage persona, she packs personality with incredible vocals and songwriting. She’s got something to say and she is making a name for herself. Representing the versatility of women in music, we are so thrilled to present… stripped back, rich & raw music with Soul.

Featuring Zola Marcelle, Bee Bakare, Teshay Makeda and Zola Marcelle

Zola Marcelle

Winner of the Drake Yolanda Award 2019, the Zimbabwe-born, England-raised singer songwriter is the epitome of cross-culture. Her style is boundless dubbing what she calls ‘Galactic Jazz’. With support from BBC Radio 1 and numerous Europe festivals under her belt, performances include the likes of Royal Albert Hall and Wembley.

Bee Bakare

Inspiration from the likes of Lauryn Hill, Whitney Houston and India Arie, Bee hopes to spread the message of self-love, embracing your natural beauty and being yourself. A vibrant performer, BBC One TV Judge and award-winning songwriter, she has received support from BBC radio and Introducing.

Teshay Makeda

Otherwise known as the Empress Of Roots Soul, the London-based singer-songwriter, has a unique style grounded in her Rastafarian roots- a hypnotic fusion of Reggae, Soul and RnB, dubbed ‘Roots Soul’. Her upcoming EP titled ‘Omega Mother Goddess’, explores the Roots and Soul of the ‘Divine Feminine’.

Rakaya Fetuga

Of Nigerian and Ghanaian heritage, London based poet Rakaya joins conversations on overlapping identities, faith and culture as self-affirmation. She won the Spread the Word Poetry Prize in 2017 and the Roundhouse Poetry Slam in 2018. Performances at the likes of the British Museum, Royal Albert Hall, Trafalgar Square and The Ivy.
